The second meeting of The Heartwork Collective took place on Treaty 6 Territory in early March of 2026. Participant were composed of 9 academics and one community member from across Canada. This cohort is collectively known as the Crooked River cohort (named after the retreat centre we stayed at on the Saskatchewan River).​
